How to use your handbook
The written test is based on your state's handbook. Read it before you practice, and go back to it for anything you get wrong.
Our practice questions are written from these same handbooks, and each question links to the section it comes from.
States revise their handbooks from time to time. If a rule here doesn't match your handbook, trust the handbook and tell us.
